Jose Villasin (pictured left) and Teofilo Velez (pictured right) are known as some of the pioneer students & head instructors at the Balintawak Street Self-Defense Club who took Anciong Bacon's teachings and systemized the knowledge. GM Villasin is credited for developing the "Grouping System" structure still used amongst Balintawak practitioners today. GM Velez is credited for consistently promoting the school with adept PR abilities, and having produced multiple skilled fighters such as Bobby Taboada.
